Karen was a superb denist and an even more wonderful person. I've had to visit dentists frequently in my life and only Dr. Robinette made me look foward to it. I was deeply saddened to learn of her passing, I will miss her greatly and she will always be in my heart.

To her husband, children, parents and sister, Pam.

I will never forget Karen. We were sudents together in high school and she was the kindest person that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing; she was a role model to everyone she met. Not only was she beautiful, her spirit in which she lived her life will remain with me forever. I'm extremely sadden by the loss of Karen.

To Dr. Robinettes family,

My husband Mickey and I were her patients at her office in Del City, Oklahoma. We will always remember her warm smile and caring ways. She was an excellent dentist and always expected the best for her patients. If something wasn't to her specifications and high standards it was done over. We could tell by the way her staff and other patients treated her that she was loved by all. She is not gone, her memory, her smile, her joy of life and love for her family and friends will be forever in the hearts and minds of those who loved her.

Sincerely, Kathie and Mickey (Michael) McMurry

I first met Karen in late 1984 and she has been my dentist ever since for me and my children. Every word from her was cheerful and was always there for you. She will be missed dearly by me and my family. My heart goes out to yours.

I had not seen Karen in many years, however, we were close friends in high school (1972-1976) when Karen was a majorette in the Mayfield High School Band.

I was saddened and shocked to read of her passing in the Louisville Courier-Journal.

I send my thoughts and prayers to her family in this time of grief.

I did not know Karen well -- most of my contact with her was through Sue Summers. I'm the lady who shipped Moose to Seattle where he now happily resides with my younger brother. I just wanted you to know that many of us at Wickline UMC are holding your family in our thoughts and prayers. My God comfort you during this time of terrible loss.

Chris, Jen and Jim,

Karen was more than our dentist and our client. She was truly a terrific friend. And that is what we will miss. She was a true pleasure to work with(most of the time)!!

May GOD bless all of you with an inner peace and strength that only He can provide. May your tears of sorrow turn into tears of laughter like Karen would have caused with her humor and attitude.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you today and always.

I was married to Ken Breeden when Karen joined the dental practice. I knew her for a very long time. I didn't have any more contact with her once we sold the dental clinic to her.

I am living in Georgia and just heard of her death today. My heartfelt condolences go out to her family. I haven't seen Christopher or Jennifer since they were very small children. I am so sorry for your loss, and I know that no words I say can ever make your loss any less. I wish your family peace. I also wish Karen peace. God Bless all of you.

My thoughts and prayers are with Karen’s family and friends during this difficult time. I met Karen back in 1985 when working as a hairstylist in Del City. At the time, she was my prettiest client, her hair was beautiful and her personality made my day. After that it was payback time for all of the times that I pulled her hair and sprayed her face with water, now she was the dentist. My son was five when he met Karen for the first time. He had knocked his teeth out riding his bike. After his appointment, he told me “she was really pretty and nice, do I have to knock out more teeth to come back?” The memories of Karen will be in my heart forever.

I remember walking across Sunnylane to get my braces tightened. I was one of the first (and probably last) set of braces she applied. I remember how "displeased" she was the time I took it upon myself to remove some of her handywork. She never took any crap from this smart-alec 15 yr old boy. She soon became a close friend to my parents and myself. Her kind words at my own mothers funeral have stayed with me to this day. I am so sorry for your loss. She will be greatly missed.

Dearest Jim,

I am so deeply sadded about Karen's death. She fought a brilliant fight and gave us all tremendous inspiration. Her courage was indescribeable. My heart goes out to you, for I know you loved her deeply. What a blessing that you were by her side to give her strength. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs to you and the kids. Dale is keeping us up to date on all the details, so will wait to give you a call. Please just know that I care and wish you the best at this really sad time.

When Karen first began her practice w/Dr. Breeden she was my dentist. Over the years she became my friend. She shared the birth of my daughter, I shared her joy over her son's appointment to the military academy and her daughter's high school graduation. We cried together when she learned she had cancer and we laughed over all her new "dos". During her entire illness she never once lost her faith in God. She was an inspiration to all who knew her and I will miss her laughter and her smile and her wonderful hugs. Lord, you now have a very special angel.
