MICHAEL COTTON

Aug 13, 1952 - March 18, 2015 HARRAH Michael was born to Richard & Allene Cotton in Oklahoma City. He is survived by his wife, Gay, of the home; his mother, Allene Cotton, and sisters, Sandra Cotton and Patricia Thompson, all of Oklahoma City; his daughters, Sierra Maynard, of Argyle, TX; and Candy Mikulenka, of Burleson, TX; sons-in-law, Jason Maynard and Michael Mikulenka; and grandchildren, Lee Maynard, Daniel Maynard, Bailey Maynard, Michael Cotton Mikulenka, and Samuel Mikulenka. He was employed with Wetherbee Electric for nearly 40 years, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. Michael had a zest for life as well as a good sense of humor. He loved his woodworking, oil painting, and gardening. He was a cowboy poet, having had five books published with the help of his daughter, Sierra. In lieu of flowers, Michael wished that donations be made to OU Children's Hospital or to the Hope Harbor Children's Home in Claremore. A Memorial Service will be held at the home on March 28 at 2 p.m.
