He passed away May 15, 2018 in Oklahoma City at the age of 61. A viewing will be held Friday, May 18, 2018, from 12pm-5pm; Saturday, May 19, from 9am-5pm and Sunday, May 20, from 9am-5pm at Crew's Funeral Home in Apache. Graveside services will be held Monday, May 21, at 11:00am at Fort Sill Cemetery, Knobb Hill Rd., Fort Sill, OK. A funeral procession will leave at 10:00am from Crew's Funeral Home in Apache. Samuel was a fun loving man who never met a stranger. He was kind and considerate and loved everyone. He was a superb musician and taught himself how to play the guitar. Samuel also loved to play chess. He was a welder by trade. He was a 40+ year resident of Oklahoma City. Samuel was a beloved brother to Justin of Arkansas, Rose "Rag Doll" of Oklahoma, George of Texas, Aud Dean of Oklahoma, Ruby of Oklahoma, Clydanne of Oklahoma; and step-brother to Loretta of Oklahoma.
