SHARON DEHNE

January 12, 1944 - October 5, 2014 EDMOND Sharon Ann (Tate) Dehne was born January 12, 1944, in Hollywood, CA. She died in Oklahoma City on October 5, 2014. Sha-ron grew up and attended school in California, Oklahoma, and Kansas where she graduated from Kinsley High School. She had a tremendous heart for others as was displayed through her works in volunteering. She spent her time volunteering at Mercy Health Center, Edmond, Memorial Hospital, Life Church, YMCA, and many more. Sharon had worked in childcare as well as a switchboard operator for Southwestern Bell in Enid. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Harold and Olga Tate; step-mother, Cora Bryant Tate; and one step-brother, Clayton Bryant. Sharon is survived by her husband, Ronald Dehne; 2 sons, Randy Dehne and wife Stacy and Rick Dehne and wife Tanya; and her grandchildren, Hunter, Kennedy, Skyler, and Dalton. She will also be missed by her brother, James B. (Jim) Tate and wife Jenene; 2 step-sisters, Bobby Rauch and Pat Flynn; as well as many nieces and nephews. As a family, we would like to thank all of the wonderful people who have been so privileged to be known by Sharon as "friend". A service celebrating Sharon's life will be at 3:30pm on Thursday, October 9, 2014, at Crawford Family Funeral Service, Edmond. Memorial donations may be made in her honor to Mercy Hospice.
