David Schneider Obituary
ELDRED, Pa. - David M. Schneider, 58, of Indian Creek Road, passed away Sunday (August 14, 2022) at Olean (N.Y.) General Hospital.
Born May 1, 1964, in Williamsport, he was a son of Raymond and Barbara Beckwith Schneider.
David was a 1982 graduate of Otto-Eldred High School and was a lifelong resident of Indian Creek. He was employed in maintenance for the McKean County Airport for several years, and later at the Aspen Towers in Olean for many years.
David loved hunting and fishing, restoring old tractors and attempting to grow giant pumpkins, a yearly competition he and the rest of his family enjoyed.
Surviving are his mother, Barbara Schneider of Indian Creek; one son, Mark Schneider of Coryville; and one daughter, Tory (Cody) Appleby of Shinglehouse; three grandchildren; one brother, Roddy Schneider of Indian Creek; and one sister, Donna Taylor of Indian Creek.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Schneider in 2020; a brother, Steven C. Schneider in 2017; and a brother-in-law, Robert Lee "Butch" Taylor in 2021.
As per David's request there will be no public services held. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
