Mrs. Jeffrey was incredibly kind. I hated PE and signed up for tennis hoping it would be a better fit for me than most other PE offerings. As the quarter ended Mrs. Jeffrey very apologetically approached me. "Becky, I don´t know what grade to give you. You are a terrible tennis player but you tried everything I suggested. You worked hard but, you can´t play tennis at all. I can´t give you a "1" because you are so bad at tennis, but you worked so hard I have to give you a passing grade and I know you have a good gpa and I don´t want tennis to make too big a dent in that." I don´t remember now if she gave me a "2" or a "3" but I´ve never forgotten how apologetic she was to me.

I really loved Mrs Jeffrey, so kind and spunky, too! She was a patient teacher, full of life. May she rest in peace. And may God comfort each of her family members.

Mrs. Jeffrey was the BEST. She put up with her "megs" back in the day. She was patient, kind, and always had that smile. I just remember loving her all my years at Benson High School. I'm so grateful to have known her.
The photo I'm including is of me crying at the State Championship Game where our "Mighty Bunnies" lost.

Carole was a wonderful influence in my time at Benson High School (class of '75). Never had her as an instructor, just knew her as someone that cared! Wonderful leader.
