Age 78. Preceded in death by her husband, Russ Kelly; parents, Pat and Judy Johnston; sister, Michaela (Hauber) Giegle; and granddaughter, Brooke Kelly.
Survived by her three children, Kimberly (Doug Cyrus) Kelly, Debra (Chaz) Yost, and Steve (Carol Ryan) Kelly; grandchildren, Nikki (Trenton) Kahler, Josh (Betsy Tampke) Kelly, Logan (Emily) Gofta and Mitch (Marquette) Ryan; great-grandchildren, Jude Kahler, Eleanor Kahler, Palmer Ryan and Campbell Ryan; brothers, Joe (Judy) Johnston and Kevin (Joan) Johnston; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE: Saturday, October 8th, from 12Noon until 3pm at the German-American Society, 3717 South 120th Street, Omaha, NE 68144.

I worked for Russ &Carolyn in the 70's .When they got first Bar." Old Maple Inn".They were the Best Bosses I ever had. They bought me ( there #1 bartender) my first pool que...What a surprise. They have 3 best children I VE ever seen . Carolyn always had the children at least the girls were always with her when she'd come to bar for a little paper work. They were one of the best Families I've known in this town.CAROLYN A TRUE & PURE WIFE & MOTHER ... GOD BLESS KIDS ITS BEEN SOME TIME KIM ,DEB & STEVE AND TO THE REST IF YOUR FAMILYS
