My dear Grandma, there are no words to express the love I have in my heart for you. You are the kindest, most loving, most amazing person I have ever known. I love you with all my heart and will forever cherish all of my memories with you. I miss you dearly every day.

As a fellow Holiday Rambler we enjoyed many times with Edythe and Rev. Robert McLoed on Rally's and with the Omaha group in our RV's. We especially like to play games with them. We were able to take them in our coach to Gillete, WY when Rev. Bob was unable to drive himself and he was the Chaplin for the entire HRRVC club at the Rally. What a delightful pair. We were able to stop in and Edythe at the manor when ever we were in Omaha after we moved to Arkansas. They would always keep us up todate on their family. I notified the HRRVC club of Edythe's passing and they will note it in there next edition of the magazine.

Edythe lived with her husband, the Rev. B. McLeod, next to our house for many years and I came to know her very well. She was a special lady--kind, caring, and generous, but mainly a wise Bible teacher who lived and practiced the The Word.
One of her many kind acts toward our family comes to mind: our kitchen was undergoing extensive renovations at a time when I caught pneumonia. Edythe came over with a set of keys. “There,” she said, “while we are away on vacation, you come and stay in our house. You don't need to be breathing all that dust.” What a blessing that was for me!
Edythe was a multi-talented lady who gave and freely shared her gifts with so many people who deeply admired her. She was also a writer of children's books.
How I miss you Edythe! A rare lady so richly endowed with Christian virtues. A life of helping others, giving, and loving. A doer of The Word, and a blessing to me and countless others. Your kindness and spiritual wisdom taught me a great deal enormously enriching my life, and the lives of many others.

With deepest sympathy. Mrs. McLeod was my 1st grade teacher at R.M. Marrs Elementary School ('71-'72). I still have the "Christmas Card Photo" that she gave to me in 1971. She was a great teacher that I thought of often over the years. Thoughts and prayers are with families.

I'm a member of the Presbyterian Church in Central City, and I play in the bell choir. We are so grateful for the gift of our handbell set from your mother and father those twenty-some years ago. We loved both of them and have seen them a few times through the years. Your mother was such a pleasant, kindly woman. May you feel the nearness of God in this time of sadness.

I have grandma's apple butter recipe. And she even passed on to me her apple butter making spoon, given to her by her father. I'm harvesting apples now. And the apple butter legacy will live on with me. Whether or not I can make it as well remains to be seen. But one thing is for sure. Apple season is sure to bring memories of her to me forever. Thanks Edythe! We love you and will miss you!

My heart is full of sadness. I was proud to have known Edythe for many years when she visited Ruth, Chuck, and her grandchildren in Texas. I'll always remember her as a kind, loving and remarkable women whom I had so much respect. My sincere sympathy .

I had the opportunity to visit with Edythe the week before she passed away. What a blessing! I loved her as our pastor's wife and as a wonderful model of a Christian woman. May God hold you close as you mourn her loss, yet are grateful for her life.
