I did not know Jessica personaly but my younger sister did and we went to St. Columbkille together in grade school. My brother was killed in a car crash just like this a few years back and my heart goes out to Jessica's family and friends. My thoughts and prayers are with them and Jen Kelly's family as well.

Losing Jess is like losing a member of our family. We loved her as a daughter, which we always called her our third daughter. I'll never forget the times I spent with Jess and Mary fundraising for our Spain trip. We definitely wrapped quite a few gifts that Christmas! Jess was always so sweet and fun to be around. I don't know if I ever heard her complain about anything, she approached everything with open arms. There was this charisma surrounding Jess that words cannot even begin to explain. She was an amazing girl and will always be remembered as someone who could light up a room with the smile on her face. Your entire family will forever remain in my thoughts and prayers.

My heart & prayers go out to you and your extended family. Jessica was such a great friend and playmate to my daughter Sarah when they were growing up together. I will remember the sleepovers when Jessica had an ear infection in the middle of the night and then the next sleepover Sarah broke out in hives. I think Jessica & Sarah finally made it thru one of those sleepovers without an incident. Jessica was such a beautiful girl inside and out - with her beautiful blue eyes and ear to ear smile. I am so very sorry for your loss. I cannot comprehend your sorrow or begin to understand the pain of losing a daughter and sister so early in her life. However, I will always keep Jessica and your family in my prayers. My neices Cecilia, Rose, Eleanor, and Sophie have lost a wonderful "big sister" in their next-door neighbor Jessica. Over the years I would always hear about something or other Jessica did for them. She would do their hair and fuss over them and make them feel special. I did not know Jessica personally, but I am positive she will be forever remembered by these four little girls as a very special part of their growing up years on Lafayette Drive in Papillion. She is now their special angel watching over them from above rather than calling to them from next door.
