I have such warm memories of Rev. McLeod and all the family, in addition to my classmate friendship with Ruth. I'm so glad I got to see Rev. and Mrs. McLeod a few months ago at the Plattsmouth church. All of you take care and please know how many are thinking of you.

We met our new neighbors, the Mcleods, in the spring of 1984. With adjacent backyards, we became acquainted over the fence visiting about flowers and gardens. Our acquaintance soon bloomed into friendship.
We were impressed by the kindness, hospitality, generosity, and friendliness of our new neighbors. Pastor Bob, and my husband Byron, became good friends. They worked on chores together, spent time deep in discussion over a wide variety of subjects. Byron treasured those times and benefited from Pastor Bob’s wisdom and knowledge. Upon hearing of Pastor Bob’s passing, Byron cried.
Some times we wonder why we never discussed the Bible with Pastor Bob, knowing his former profession. Now we know why: Pastor Bob was an open Bible himself…by his life, his humble nature, and gentle personality. He was a true man of God. We miss him. Edythe, we love you and pray for you.

To the McLeod Family,
My prayers and sympathies are with you. I was the one who followed Robert at St. Paul. I was there from 1983-87. I had met you a few times at St. Paul. I also was a student at Hastings College when Ruth was there. I graduated in 1974. I had to retire from the ministry three years ago because of a severe heart condition.Again my prayers and thoughts are with you. May God comfort you.
