Glen CookVernon N.Y. >> Glen S. Cook, 63, of 16 Front St., passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018, at St. Elizabeth's Healthcare in Utica after being stricken at home. He was born on March 20, 1955, in Utica, the son of Perley and Martha Hillage Cook. He attended VVS schools. On June 7, 1980, he was united in marriage to Wendy Hungerford in Bridgewater. Glen was a self-employed snow plow driver for 30 plus years. Glen loved camping and he enjoyed watching his grandchildren in their various activities from basketball and soccer to racing dirt bikes. Surviving besides his wife, Wendy; are three daughters, Heather Cook, of Vernon, Tiffany (Aaron) Owens, of Sauquoit, and Geri Cook (fiancé, Don Champion), of Oriskany Falls; a brother, David Hoolihan, of Vernon; a sister, Carol (Wes) Houston, of St. Louis, Mo.; four grandchildren, Riley, Hailey, Liza, and Jake; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited and may call on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Ironside Funeral Home, Inc, 342 Main St., Oneida.
