Adelle Frankum Haddon, 63, wife of Mark H. Haddon, entered into rest Thursday, July 27, 2017, at her residence.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 5, 2017, at 2:00 PM from Wesley United Methodist Church in Evans, with Reverend Greg Porterfield and Reverend Mark Outlaw officiating.

Mrs. Haddon, daughter of Gloria Enman Frankum and the late W.J. Frankum, was born in Toccoa, GA, and raised in Carnesville, GA. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and the Journey Sunday school class and also served in several of the church's outreach ministries. Mrs. Haddon was a Senior Manager with Electrolux and a member of P.E.O., AU chapter.

In addition to her husband and her mother she is survived by her daughter, Mary Catherine Haddon Hurley (Michael), of Athens; her son, Taylor Haddon, of Augusta; her sister, Lynn Outlaw (Mark), of Gainesville, GA; her brothers, David Frankum (Roxanne), of Athens, Mark Frankum (Teri), of Fayetteville, AR, and Paul Frankum (Terry), of Kansas City, MO; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

If so desired memorial contributions may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church, 825 N. Belair Rd, Evans, GA 30809, or to the American Cancer Society, 2607 Commons Blvd, Augusta, GA 30909.

The family will receive friends Saturday, August 5, 2017, from 1:00 PM until the hour of service at the church.

Our Dearest Mark,

We just heard the heartbreaking news regarding your wonderful Adelle. The two of you have always been and will always be so special to us! Had we only known by Saturday, we would have quickly made the journey to offer our support to you, Mary Catherine & Taylor as we know that all of you are going to miss this special lady so much! Despite the years and miles between us, we will always treasure the times that we spent together! You, Adelle and your family will always be so special to us! We have had a number of heartbreaking losses in our immediate family as well, most recently an equally devastating cancer battle also valiantly fought until the end on August 12th, 2016 thus we know how deeply all of you are hurting right now. You and Adelle "set the bar" and were role models for how couples (whether musicians or not) should be loving, caring, dedicated and committed to one another. Though Adelle is now blessed to be delivered from this sinful, painful world to happily await that forever Heavenly reunion with you, Mary Catherine and Taylor with that sweet smile on her face, we know in the interim that each of you are going to miss her so much, as will all who ever met her. Just know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers. Sadly until now, we didn't know of yet another special connection with Adelle . that her Dad was from our Toccoa. Just know, so many are lifting you all in prayer at this time, asking God to bring peace and comfort as only He can.

Adelle was one of the first people at Electrolux to welcome me and help me learn the Electrolux way. She moved to Charlotte and lived in an apartment away from her family for a few years. I loved hearing about her ideas to upgrade her appartment and all the furniture hunting. She would either go home every weekend or Mark would drive up to see her. She loved her family and was proud of them. I thank you Adelle for being such a beautiful and loving person. I will be thinking about her family and hope they know how much she loved each of them. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you!

Adelle will be missed by many. Our work years together at Electrolux are something I'll always cherish. Her smile and wit could make the worst work days brighter.

We all loved hearing stories about her family and she always loved sharing about them. It was evident the love she held for each one; Mark, their children, her parents and siblings. It was interesting to hear how Taylor and some friends paddled their kayaks between Augusta and Savannah after his HS graduation, camping along the Savannah river as they went (if I remember correctly). She was very proud of her children and seemed to love seeing them grow up. She was especially proud of Mark, and loved when he would stop by the Augusta office (before Electrolux moved to Charlotte).

Goodbye friend, you will be missed and not soon forgotten.
