Mrs. Jacqueline Smith Hudson Grant, 79, died Sunday, December 31, 2023.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2024, at Armenia Methodist Church with Rev. Bryan Meares and Rev. Mike Burgess officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Grant was born January 1, 1944, in Chester, S.C. and was a daughter of the late Robert Edgar Hudson and Janie Sue Brakefield Hudson. She was a graduate of Chester High School and was a homemaker. Jackie was a member of Armenia Methodist Church. She loved her church and was always involved with any activities of the church.
She is survived by her husband of over 58 years, Marvin Boyd Grant; nephew, Ellis Love (Mylynda) of Chester, S.C.; special great-niece, Katelyn Love of Charleston, S.C.; nephew, Howard Grant (Wendy) of Huntington Beach, CA; great-niece, Sarah Grant of Huntington Beach, CA; nephew, Walter Anthony Grant (Charlene) of San Tan Valley, AZ; and special friends, Linda and Thomas Rourk of Goose Creek, S.C.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Robbie Sue Hudson Love.
