JAMES MCINERNEY Obituary
Our beloved James McInerney, wonderful husband, brother, father, grandfather and friend, passed away on 12/5/2011 due to complications from heart surgery. He is survived by his wife of 48 years and soul mate, Nancy; his sister, Georjean; and his two daughters, Tracy Berge and Wendy Williams.
Jim was was born on 6/19/1944 in Monterey Park, CA and was a La Habra resident for 56 years. After a long career as rail road engineer, he found his true passion of railroad safety with the California Public Utility Commission. Jim loved spending time with his family and five grandchildren and friends, and lived by his motto, "family comes first."
The family will have a memorial funeral mass to celebrate his life on Friday, December 9, 2011, 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in La Habra, CA. In lieu of flowers, friends may make a donation to Operation Lifesaver, a rail safety program James volunteered for and believed in for many years.
