I think of you often because you had that effect on the people around you.
I pray for your folks that they would find peace in the years the Lord has given them.
I pray for your siblings that they would live a life that honors your memory and your life.
I pray for this world because in a world of all this hatred weve lost too many quality people like you Leland.
Lastly I pray for me because I find myself missing you. Other than my time coaching my sons I think of you more than any other person I ever coached.

I remember LeLand as a wonderful young man. I last saw him and had a nice chat with him when he worked at Target.
We were neighbors on Speer Street and all the children got along great. LeLand, Willie, Kasi, etcetera. LeLand was not only a fine young man, but I remember him being quite the basketball player as well.
My prayers are with his entire family.
