Linda Giffin Obituary

GIFFIN, LINDA ANN Linda Giffin died tragically on September 20th along with her five year old son, John-Patrick Ryan Eivers. The cause was an automobile accident south of Oregon City. Linda died on impact; JP was taken by life-flight to OHSU and, despite heroic efforts, passed away at 12:07 pm. Linda is survived by her husband Mark Giffin and her children Rocky Galero, 22, Crystal Galero, 20 and Jake Galero, 16. She is also survived by 3 sisters: Gloria Arellano and Lydia Harper of Colorado and Consuelo Barela of Milwaukie, Oregon who are all here to kiss their darling sister goodbye. Linda was a victorious woman, an ongoing source of strength and expectations met. She loved her family with unwavering determination and dedicated her life to being the best parent she could be. She was a wide-eyed tigress for her precious kids. Her wit was unmatched during family gatherings. So many brilliant memories, so much future still ahead. Linda and John-Patrick, side by side, mother and son, surviving still. Our families surround them now to bless them on their eternal journeys. The Holy Spirit of God, the Creator, really knew how lasting these two creations would be. Linda and JohnPatrick's sudden departure from this life has left us completely anguished but for the fact that we know she is safe with him and he with her in the brilliant safety of God Almighty. Services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 27, 2003 at the Clackamas Christian Center, 13333 SE Rusk Road, Milwaukie, Oregon 97222. Memorials may be sent to the church in her memory.
