Scott Roth Obituary
Jan. 24, 1960 - Aug. 14, 2018
Scott Roth, of Sherwood, Ore., died Aug. 14, 2018, at the age of 58. He was born in Portland to Joy E. and the late Eldred S. Roth. Scott spent most of his life in Lake Oswego, Tigard, Tualatin and Sherwood.
For over 20 years, Scott worked for Tromley Industrial Holdings Inc. in Tualatin, a locally owned family manufacturing business.
Survived by his mother, Joy E. Roth, Tigard; sister, Linda Sullivan, Lake Oswego; brother, Seward Whitfield (Christy), Tillamook; and niece, Carrie Eyre Whitfield, Anchorage, Alaska.

I just heard today that you passed and that makes me incredibly sad. I work for XPO Logistics, we used to be Con-way Freight. I called on Scott as a customer that shipped with us often at Dependable Foundry in Tualatin. He was always kind and enjoyable to talk with. He spoke of his Mom often and sometimes I would bring by a Starbucks that he would take to her on his visits and then I would get an email that said, Mom says thanks. That always made me smile. I believe she had stopped drinking coffee but I always enjoyed hearing how she was doing and I always admired and respected Scott for being a good and caring son that looked out for his Mom. An overall great guy. Very sorry to his family and friends.
