Allen helped our family with a difficult home design issue. It was such a pleasure getting to know Allen and I always looked forward to our meeting at his office. We are in that home now and able to enjoy all of his special designs . Thank you Allen and family . Great man

Mr. Arthur, as our family calls him, was a neighborhood blessing. He always took time out of his daily walks to speak to the kids who were playing in the front yard. He shared his faith and joy and stories of playing soccer in Germany to improve international relations while he was stationed there. Just last summer, when he learned that Adam loves architecture, Allen invited him to ride along and check out some of his projects. He was the epitome of a gentle man and Christian. He will be missed.

Allen was a key part of the development and success of the Central Florida Research Park which today is home to more than 10,000 employees. As an Orange County Commissioner, Allen signed the ordinance that created the Central Florida Research Park in 1979. Later as Chairman of the Orange County Research and Development Authority, Allen guided the growth of the research park during challenging times. Allen was the most decent, kind and honorable elected official that I have ever known. Most of all, he was the wonderful person that so many have described.
