Judith D. Coyle

1937 - 2023

Judith D. (Judee) Coyle died on Monday, January 30, 2023. Ms. Coyle was born in Orange, New Jersey on December 26, 1937, daughter of the late Francis S. Coyle, Jr. and Aileen MacCormack Coyle. She graduated from Bishop McDonnell Memorial High School, Brooklyn, New York. She earned a bachelor's degree in history from the College of White Plains, New York, and furthered her studies at Western Connecticut State College in Danbury, Connecticut. From April 1961 until May 1971, she was a member of the Sisters of the Divine Compassion and was employed as a teacher in their schools. From 1971 until she retired in 1995, she was employed as a teacher by Lincoln Hall, a nonprofit organization committed to helping youth and their families meet academic, behavioral, and employment goals, located in Lincolndale, New York. Following her retirement, she relocated to Orlando, Florida. She served for many years as the President of the Somerset Village HOA in the Williamsburg section of Orlando. She was also a long-time volunteer with the Give Kids the World Village. In addition to her parents, Ms. Coyle was pre-deceased by her sisters, Sister Mary Berchmans (Margi) Coyle, RDC and Colleen Coyle McDonald, brother Francis (Frank) Coyle, sister-in-law Mary Coyle, and brother-in-law James (Jim) McDonald. She is survived by four nephews, Kevin (Laureen), John (Karen), Christopher (Elizabeth), and Timothy Coyle; two nieces, Kathleen McCalister and Maureen Coyle; and 14 grandnieces and grandnephews. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, February 27, 2023, in the Family Funeral Care Chapel, Orlando, Florida. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2023, in Holy Cross Catholic Church, Orlando. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home, Gotha, Florida. Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Lincoln Hall, Give Kids the World Village, or the SPCA.
