Loren Huang

1941 - 2014

Huang, Loren Loren went home to her Heavenly Father on Monday, August 18, 2014 with family by her side at home. She was born in New York City on April 6, 1941. Loren touched the lives of all she met through church and work. She was employed as a customer service representative for the Bank of North America in New York City. She and her family moved to Orlando the summer of 1978. She was a hostess and waitress at Sampan in College Park, her brother-in-law's restaurant. Shortly thereafter, she returned to her love as a customer service representative at SunTrust bank, College Park branch, where she worked for 20+ years until retirement. She was a devoted Christian. Starting at True Light church in Chinatown, NYC, then Calvary Assembly in Winter Park, Fl, after that, Northwest Community church, Orlando, Fl, and finally, Journey Christian church, Apopka, Fl. She greatly enjoyed her church family and volunteering her services especially cooking meals for families in need. She is survived by her beloved husband, Almond, of 55 years. Two loving children, son Alan, Washington State, and daughter, Sharon, Longwood, Fl. Four grandchildren, Ryan, Kody, Kyler, and Micki. Sister, Lynette, brother Jeffrey, both of New York City. She also leaves behind many cherished relatives and friends who greatly enriched and blessed her life. The family thanks all for their prayers and condolences. Loren's kind spirit, gentleness, and soft spoken words of encouragement were an inspiration to all. She will be dearly missed and forever loved. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the charities of your choice, in memory of Loren. Services will be held at DeGusipe funeral home, 9001 N Maitland Ave, Maitland, FL 32751. Visitation Friday, Aug 29, 2014, 7 - 9 pm and Celebration of Life Saturday, Aug 30, 2014 11 am.
