Amber Skutt Obituary
She is survived by her mother, Christine (Uriah) Prosser of Roscommon; father, Jim (Sherry) Skutt of Midland; baby sister and her fiancé, Ashley May Skutt and Jeff Phipps of Frederic; step-sisters, Laura Starks of Standish and Constance Starks of Midland; step-brothers, Brian and William Starks of Midland; maternal grandparents, David (Bernie) Schmidt of Beaverton and Amy (Joe) Schade of Roscommon; paternal grandmother, Wanetta Skutt of Flushing; many aunts, uncles, cousins; and nieces, Gracie and Leah Hammond of Midland. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Jimmie L. Skutt; and nephew, Remington Starks.
The family will receive friends at Walsh Funeral Home on Friday, April 28, 2016 from noon to 4 p.m., with a life celebration at 4 p.m. Memorials to the Au Sable Valley Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 384, Grayling, MI 49738 would be appreciated. Arrangements are being handled by Walsh Funeral Home, Roscommon.

♡ Today we lay you to rest. What an amazing friendship gone too soon. I'll cherish every year filled with memories and unforgettable moments since we were young children. You truly were what all these wonderful people say, a free spirit, a kind soul, so outgoing, so genuinely beautiful inside and out. You never let the hardship of life bring you down, and you never let it bring down the people around you either. I've said it before and I'll say it again, this world shines a little less bright without that enticing smile and contagious laugh.
