Ellis Danison Obituary

ELLIS M. DANISON "Cooter" Age 69, of West Palm Beach, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2003. Mr. Danison was a life long resident of West Palm Beach, and a graduate of Palm Beach High School. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of Korea, and a 45 year member of I.B.E.W. He was predeceased by his mother, Lois W. Danison, father, Ellis L. Danison, brother, Arthur L. Danison and sister, Carol Waldron. Mr. Danison will be lovingly remembered by his family, including his wife of 28 years, Penny Danison, six children, Ellis M. "Bubba" (Mary) Danison, Jr., Bill Danison, Karen (Drew) Hansen, Jeanette ( Jim) Hayes, Yvette (Brady) Hull, Janet Joyner, five sisters, Juanita (Jim) Gilliland, Clara Mae Cook, Rose (Richard) Bland, Elizabeth Danison, Patricia Althouse, two brothers, Richard (Sharon) Danison, Carl "Sonny" Danison, twelve grandchildren, six great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Funeral Service will be held 12 Noon Saturday, July 19, 2003 at TILLMAN FUNERAL HOME, 2170 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, the Rev. Ray Henry of Belvedere Baptist Church, West Palm Beach presiding. Burial with military honors will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, West Palm Beach. The family will receive relatives and friends 2-4 and 7-9 PM Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be sent to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407.
