Memories of my dear sister Loretta

Our years in Merasheen were precious to me

because of you and our family.

Somehow I knew in my heart

that one day we all would part.

The day came when you left Newfoundland

To seek and marry a caring young American

man.

Out of love you had for each other-

came six beautiful kids-one after

another. I'll always remember when

I visited you both, when your kids

were toddlers and teenages too

I was also there when they said

"I DO"

In my heart these memories I'll hold

dear. because it meant Oh so much

just by being there.

While on earth you were loved by

everyone you met.

Especialy by those with whom you

played scat.

But God wanted another angel to

sit by His throne.

And in June-2005 He called you home.

"Sorry" On that sad day I wasn't

there.

But strongly felt your presence with me

here.

Many times I'll have a good cry because

you are in my thouhgts as the days

slip by.

So now my dear sister I'll bid adeu

Because I know that Mom, Dad, Mae,

Millie, Willie, Sr.Rita,Ferg, Anthony & Pat are

waiting for you

To join with the angels as they sing

Glory to God and to Christ out King.

you will always be in my thoughts

& prayers.

With love and affection .

Your Kid sister

R.J.

Dear Uncle George and Family,

It was a very sad day when I heard the news about Aunt Loretta's passing. Last summer in Newfoundland was such a special time for me and I am so thankful I got to see Aunt Loretta and spend sometime with her. I missed out on a lot of years. She was a beartiful lady and I will never forgot her. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in your time of sorrow. She is a beautiful angel in heaven now where there is no more pain and suffering and one day you will all be together again. Love Millie

Dear Uncle George,

I was so sad to hear of Aunt Loretta's passing. She fought an unprecedented fight. I can only imagine how difficult it must be for you. I thank God every night for the 27 years I had with Bob. Some people never experience the love we shared. You and Aunt Loretta's love spanned a lifetime. She will be sorely missed. God Bless you always. Love and hugs Bonnie xxoo

Uncle George and Family,

It was a very sad day for me to hear of Aunt Loretta passing away. I know it must be extremely difficult for all of you. She held a very special place in my heart and always will. I'm so glad we were able to spend time with her last summer and she'll really be missed when we go home this summer. There'll be many happy memories of her when we gather around the table to play Scat.

She'll be loved forever, forgotten never.

Thinking of you all. Love, Shirley, Owen, Adam, Evan & Liam

Uncle George and Family...we are all very sad here in Nfld to hear of your loss which we can only share in our hearts and thoughts. My girls were really upset at the news as well. In our way of saying goodbye, as we can't be there in person, we'll all put messages in helium balloons and release them to the heavens so they can travel up with your Angel.

In my garden I'm planting a rose in her name which will bring us beautiful blooms year after year, just as your memories will bring you happy thoughts year after year.

We were looking at some pictures on Tuesday afternoon and we came across the ones when Aunt Lollie, Uncle George and Aunt Jean got their tattoos from my very insistent children. We'll have beautiful memories to add to our Scrapbook.

hugs and kisses to you all

Love Glenda, Duane, Hannah, Elizabeth, and Jordan
