Dear family,

You know that our thoughts and prayers have been with you all this time and will be with you forever. Uncle Joe and I have had our 'sad' moments thinking and talking about your Mom over the past month; and boy do we miss her. It's so sad to know that she will never be coming up to St. Augustine on vacation at our house any more. But the memories and the silly thing we've done together will never be forgotten.

We can all be content in knowing that she is in a better place and at peace.

Never forget y'all are always in our thoughts and prayers. We are here if and when you need us.

Love you,
Aunt Ronnie & Uncle Joe

Marlene,

I remember you teaching me the lyrics to the Micky Gilley song, "Room Full Of Roses."

I know you're now surrounded by fields of Heavenly ones.

As a teenager, I fell in love with your daughter, Debra Lynn.

As a man approaching the age of 50, I want you to know, I love her even more today.

I'll do my best to stay in touch with Debbie, and to make sure she's okay.

News of your passing got me to do something I haven't done in a long time . . . cry!

Thanks a lot!:(

The last time I hugged Mrs Ryan was at one of Ronny's football games. She was there cheering on one of her kids. She was so proud of Jim, Debby, and Ronny. She was special to me; like a second mom. But that was easy for her. I am deeply saddened by her passing and better for having known her. My sincerest condelences.

I've found myself using the term "Mommy" over the past few weeks. It feels good to say it, even at 46 years old. Me, my brothers have been spending this past week with her best friend Joanne (our surrogate mother whom I feel our mother sent to be by our side at this time). Tough we've never met her over the 20+ years our mother has known her, she fits us like a glove. We've been sharing stories and photos with her, giving her a different glimpse of the woman she loves so much. In return, she has been sharing stories of strangers who love our mother because of her tireless efforts with the Adoption Database they both have devoted their precious time to. My mother truly was an angel with a heart of gold. She will be missed by many, but most of all by her children. We certainly didn't have enough time on earth with her, but we will meet her again in a better place - over the rainbow. RIP, Mommy.
I love you with all my heart, Debra Lynn XO.
