Family-Placed Funeral Notice

PETER N. BASIL 79 years old, of West Palm Beach, FL, died Monday, October 24, 2005, after an extended illness. Born in Yonkers, NY on October 16, 1926, he was the son of Harry and Katherine Panagi Basil. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and later operated his own advertising studio in NY, NY, the Basil Studio. He moved to Palm Beach in 1971 and opened his video studio, Advanced Video. He resided in Palm Beach from 1971 until moving to West Palm Beach in 1986. He was a member of the Sailfish Club, the Beach Club, the Yacht Club and the Collette Club. He is survived by his wife, Danielle F. Basil of West Palm Beach; five daughters, Stephanie Christie of San Clemente, CA, Nikki Goodrich of Fresno, CA, Monique Refkin of Plantation, FL, Michelle Rodwell of Arlington Heights, IL, and Georgia “Gigi” Bolman of Oro Valley, AZ; nine grandchildren, Sean, Steven, Darien, John, Courtney, Ashleigh, Jessica, Katrina and Tess; and three great grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob and Kayla. He was predeceased by his brother, William Basil and his sister, Despina Boulmetis. Friends may visit with the family between the hours of 3:00 to 5:00 PM on Friday, November 4, 2005, at QUATTLEBAUM FUNERAL HOME, 1201 South Olive Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL. Funeral Services and Interment will be private for the family.
