NORMAL - Mary Patricia Gould, 95, of Normal, passed away at 4:43 a.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at Carle BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.
Her funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington, where visitation will be one hour prior to services. Interment will immediately follow services at St. Mary's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to OSF Hospice or Carle Cancer Center, Normal or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

She was born September 7, 1928, in Bloomington, daughter of Frank Weaver and Pearl Lavin Prescher. She married Daniel J. Gould on April 30, 1949, in Bloomington, he preceded her in death on February 5, 1988. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Susan Muir; one daughter-in-law, Maggie Gould; one great-grandson, Jackson; two brothers and one sister.
Surviving are seven children: Daniel J. Jr. (Robin) Gould, Towanda, Barbara (Richard) Cooper, Normal, Michael (Beverly) Gould, LeRoy, Patty (Gary) Ford, Hudson, David (Shelley) Gould, Bloomington, Tim Gould, Jarratt, VA, and Debbie (Thom) Scott, Normal. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one son-in-law, John Muir, Carlock.
Pat worked at State Farm and Laesch Dairy, and for 13 years as a cashier at Bob Johnson's.
Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family and friends.

I met Pat and her family 50 years ago. Her grandson is now married to my daughter. She was a special woman and will be missed by many.
