Paul Edward Exum, 90, of Paragould, passed away Nov. 9, 2021, in Jonesboro.
He was born Feb. 15, 1931, to George and Ersa Exum.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nella Exum; parents; brothers, Forrest Exum, Truman Exum and Marvin Exum; and sisters, Merlene Osborne and Georgia Mae Adams.
Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Sheresa Exum, and Bryan and Robin Exum; brothers, Lynn Exum, David Exum and Calvin Exum; sisters, Maxine Beeler, Maggie Smith and Joyce Cunningham; grandchildren, Barkley (Whitney) Exum, Spencer (Linsie) Exum and Grayson Exum; great-grandchildren, Kennley, JonPaul, Zach, Hudson, Smith and Walden; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, Nov. 14, from 5-7 p.m. at Unity Baptist Church.
The funeral service, under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home, will begin at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 15, at Unity Baptist Church with Terry Songer and Chad Robinson officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.
Barkley Exum, Spencer Exum, Grayson Exum, Michael Exum, Derek Exum and Nathan Smith will serve as pallbearers. JonPaul Exum, Zach Glass, Peyton Williams and the men of Unity Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Sorry to hear Paul had passed. Paul and Nella were a blessing to a lot of people including me and my family. I remember them helping to plan and supervise activities for us teens at Unity Baptist Church. I know he will be missed and we will see him again.
