Steve was a 30 year customer of mine and dear friend. I don't think there was anything we didn't talk about in the space of 30 years.
I am devastated and will miss him, but I know Steve, and he always told it like it was. He was proud of his family and loved Marilyn, his boys, and he was definitely 'the dog whisper!'.
I knew he wasn't doing well, but he was one
that accepted his health choices. I want to celebrate his memory, his life, and remember him with respectful fondness. He is with Marilyn now, and Zeke and Talley, and all his cats, and I'm sure of that! My heart goes out to his family and boys. Your parents were beautiful and special
people. May your hearts swell with pride and the future fill you with the sweetest of memories, and know that they are together for eternity.

Lonna Marsh

I have had a few good men in my life, my father Lon Marsh and Steve are top two. My childhood was filled with long summer nights in Laguna beach with Steve, my godmother Marolyn and the boys laughing and talking. Those times are among the most treasured. Vodka, beer, cigarettes ( and that was Lon and Steve only!). Trivial Pursuit was the game and Steve knew every answer and forgot whose team he was on. He blurted every answer out followed by a Oh, God Damn It! He was a mans man but could talk about modern concepts like alternative film and women's rights. Steve made us want to be smart and thoughtful and emotionally healthy. My father was anti labor union and Steve WAS labor union and they were the best of friends. I love him deeply.
