Louise V. Vose

ATTLEBORO - Louise V. Vose 76, passed away Friday November 9, 2018. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Rock P. and Lillian V. (Valade) Lariviere. Louise grew up in Pawtucket and attended both Pawtucket and Attleboro schools.
She was a sewer and supervisor for thirty years at Health - Tex Inc, formerly the Standard Romper Company, and was also a Secretary for Union Wadding for sixteen years prior to her retirement.
Louise was a member of Saint Theresa's Church in South Attleboro, and an active member of the South Attleboro Village Lions for twenty years, serving on many committees and the Board of Directors. She was also the recipient of a Melvin Jones award and also awarded Lion of the year in 2018.
She was an avid golfer and bowler, loved NASCAR racing, yard sales, antique stores and Flea Markets.
She is survived by her aunt Jeannette Lariviere, cousins Janine Cotugno, Ernie, Gerard and Kathy Barrette, friends John and Elaine Holmes, David and Cheryl Sharkey, plus many more wonderful friends. She was the sister of the late Edmond Lariviere and the former wife of the late Richard E. Vose.
Calling Hours will be Saturday November 17, 2018 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. in the Darlington Mortuary of L. Heroux & Son 1042 Newport Avenue Pawtucket with a Prayer Service at 4:00 P.M. in the Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
