Darlene Meyer Obituary
PEKIN - Darlene M. Meyer, 93, of Pekin passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021, in Pekin.
She was born December 22, 1927, in Pekin, IL, to John and Jennie (Sweeter) Jansen. She married Frank L Meyer on October 18, 1959, in Pekin. He preceded her in death on September 25, 2014. Also preceding her in death were her parents and four siblings, Hilda, Henry, Pete and Bertha.
Surviving are a niece, Marcella McGowan of Springfield; sister-in-law, Marilyn Liescheidt of Pekin; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Darlene was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Pekin and worked as an account supervisor with Pekin Insurance for many years before retiring. She and her husband were avid square dancers.
A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 19, 2021, with visitation one hour prior to the service at Davison-Fulton Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin. Burial will follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
