Charles William "Chuck" Lang, 84, of Pensacola, died Wednesday, February 05, 2014. He was born on December 12, 1929 in Millvale, PA to Charles Peter Lang and Shirley Viete Lang. He is survived by his loving wife of over 60 years, Melveen Hanks Lang. His children include William Lang (Angie) of Fairhope, AL; Charles Lang (Sue) of Marietta, GA; Brian Lang (Sherry) of Muscle Shoals, AL; Cheryl Mitchell of Pensacola, FL; and Kristin Holifield (Woody) of Milton, FL. He is also survived by 9 loving grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and sister, Leanna Ayoob of Las Vegas, NV. He was preceded in death by son, Steven Lang. Chuck was a Navy veteran, having retired from AT&T with 36 years of service. The funeral service will be held at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel on Saturday, February 08, 2014 at 10am, with visitation one hour prior. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons, Matthew Lang, Chris Lang, Alan Mitchell, Woody Holifield, Patrick DeMarcus, and Jonathan Lassiter. Entombment will be at Bayview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Alzheimer's Research at www.alz.org. Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel has been entrusted with the privilege of arrangements.
