FEBRUARY 23, 1945 - OCTOBER 16, 2007

Clarence Wayne Hancock Sr., "C.W.", died in his home on Tuesday, October 16, 2007.
Wayne was a U.S. Army Veteran, a Shriner and an Industrial Electrician by trade. He worked most of his career at Flour-Daniels as an Electrical Supervisor. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed competing in Tournaments and spent many weekends on the water. He was a longtime member of Molino Bass Club. He loved country music and was a skilled acoustical guitar player.
His father, Clarence Radford Hancock and his two sisters, Edna Cartwright and Brenda Hancock preceded him in death
Wayne is survived by his three children and their spouses, Tammy Hancock Davies and Robert Davies of Gulf Breeze, FL, Bo and Heidi Hancock of Munson, FL and Amy Hancock Smith and Robert Smith of Fort Hood, TX; his seven grandchildren, Colin Davies, Cameron Davies, Cameron Adams, Travis Hancock, Hank Hancock, Jordan Smith and Chase Smith. He is also survived by his loving companion of many years, Rennee Scott.
Wayne was the oldest of eight children and is survived by his brother, Kenneth Hancock and Horace Hancock of Pensacola, FL and Douglas Hancock of Anancoco, LA; his sisters, Rose Fails and Betty Wingate of Pensacola. He had numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 19, 2007 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North, Cantonment, FL. with the Reverend Jim Locke officiating.
FAITH CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME NORTH, 1000 Highway 29 South, Cantonment, FL is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, October 18, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Temple Transportation Fund, 800 West Nine Road, Pensacola, FL 32534.
