1963-2011
"Whit" David Whitfield, 47, of Pensacola passed away on Friday, February 25, 2011. He was a member of the "North 9 Mile Knuckleheads". He was a tree man for 26 years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Whitfield, who he has been with for 15 years; a sister, Debbie Whitfield; two brothers, Scotty Whitfield and Harley Whitfield (Jamie); four children, Clark Mulinix, Marcus Mulinix, Tara Davidson, and Sara Davidson; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Whit was preceded in death by his mother, Toni Whitfield.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South.
A celebration of Whit's life will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 4, 2011 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South, 100 Beverly Pkwy. A time of sharing will be started by Whit's friend Donald Moran. So many special friends that they cannot be named will serve as honorary pallbearers for his service.
