Wanda,
Once again you have had to face intense pain. We are so sorry for your loss.
We have never known better people than your parents. They were God's representatives on this earth. We feel that we know all of your family well from Bro. George's stories. You could tell how important his family and his Lord was to him. It was a joy to have pastored them. You are in our prayers.

Our names are Charles and Linda Lambert, George and Thelma's neighbors for 26 years. When we first moved in at the "Red House at the top of the hill", as George used to call it...we became good friends right away.
Two weeks ago, while visiting George at his bed side, we talked about the good old days of our "neighborship" and we prayed with George. It was a very moving time and as usual we realized how lucky we were to have been their neighbors for all these years. The Lord has truly blessed us for that relationship. Our son Mark was one of George's doctors, so our families had close ties with this wonderful man.

Jeannie, I know your heart is broken and you have lost your best friend as well as your father. You continue to be the good woman that you are and continue to live the life that you were raised as by your parents. Uncle George always talked about how he loved you and how proud he was of you. Uncle George, has always been so special to me, I have always loved him with all my heart, kind of like a granddaddy, I will always remember how much he told me he loved me and how special i was, guess for the reason of helping raise my mother (Annie Weekley his little baby sister). I will speak for her, she loved him with every ounce of love from her heart and always said, she wouldn't have made it so many times if it hadn't been for him. He fed and took care of her, even when she was sick as a child, they were so close and when daddy ask to marry her, Uncle George was the one that gave her away. We have had some tough times lately with sickness in our family but they will meet again in heaven. I love you and my heart bleeds for you, but things will get better. Remember the just has to suffer for the unjust, that was some of you Daddy's famous words, i've heard him say it so many times. God Bless you and pray for strenght.
Love, Patsy
