Arthur L. Sullivan

1934 - 2022

On 11/4/22, Arthur L. Sullivan passed after a long battle with cancer. Arthur is survived by his wife, Sonja Sullivan; his daughters, Karen and Kelly Sullivan; his beloved granddaughter, Megan; and his son-in-law, Dale Rogerson. Arthur was born in Brooklyn, NY, the eldest son of three brothers (predeceased by John L. Sullivan and Donald Sullivan). Arthur enlisted in the United Stated Air Force and served as an engineering mechanic at the Strategic Air Force Command. After his service, Arthur attended Parks College at St. Louis University and obtained a degree in engineering. He was a member of Alpha Sigma Chi. Arthur worked as an aerospace engineer for Vertol, and for over 30 years for the United States, working first, for the United States Army Materiel Command, and then until retirement, for the Naval Air Systems Command. Arthur loved his family and had a thirst for knowledge and education. Arthur continued his education at American University and obtained a Masters of Public Administration. Never far from a book, he would want the world "to do great and wonderful things." Arthur will be missed for his wit, his love for family, and his humble and simple way of living.
