Dorothy Short Obituary

Dorothy Anne Short, 86, passed November 7, 2022 in her home. She was born on August 21, 1936 in Martinsville, Virginia to the late Witcher and Ninner Stultz. She is also predeceased by her husband, Darrel Short, and a daughter, Deborah Tanner.

She is survived by two daughters, Donna Moseley (Darren) and Diana Johnston (David); a son, David Short; six grandchildren, David Wetmore (Cassie), Daniel Moseley, Darcy Johnston, Elizabeth Miller (Mike), Mark Tanner, and Michael Tanner; eight great-grandchildren and many extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 3 PM Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 6:30 - 8PM Friday November 11, 2022.
