James Hayden Obituary
Virginia Beach - James Thompson (Tommy) Hayden, 31, graduated to his heavenly home on Oct. 16, 2017. He was born in Va Beach on April 8, 1986 where he lived most of his life. He attended Cox High, Friends School & TCC.
Tommy had a passion for writing, movies & hiking the Appalachian Trail. However, his biggest passion was his love for his sons, Levi & Jaxon. His days were filled with caring for them. Tommy is survived by his parents, Darnise Maness Hayden of Va Beach & James L. Hayden, Jr. of Estes Park, CO; his brother Cody Hayden of Va Beach; Katie Walters of Va Beach & of course his sons Levi James Hayden & Jaxon Joshua Hayden; as well as numerous cousins, aunts & uncles.
He was a kind, gentle soul with a quick, dry wit & raw sense of humor. A celebration of his life will be held at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., 2002 Laskin Rd. Virginia Beach Va., on Tuesday October 24, 2017. Friends will be received beginning at 5:00 pm with the service at 7:00 pm. A Go Fund Me page will be set up for anyone wishing to make Memorial Donations. Online condolences may be offered to the family at hdoliver.com

My thoughts and prayers are with you today and always. The lost of a child changes your life forever. God is there beside you to comfort you. The angels above are watching over each of you as you find a "new" normal. The legacy Tommy leaves is his two precious children. May God watch over them in the days to come.
