Mary Porter Obituary
Mary was a 1956 graduate of Maury High School. She was a longtime volunteer at Children's Hospital of the Kings Daughters and Norfolk General Hospital. She enjoyed playing Mahjong with her friends and researching the family genealogy.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Preston P. Porter, Sr. her son David B. Porter and her son in law Keith Barrale. Survivors include her daughter Catherine Barrale, five sons; Preston P. Porter, Jr. (Patti), Lattie E. Porter (Mary), Wayne A. Porter (Tita), Thomas N. Porter, and Michael S. Porter (Jocylen). Mary is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted 11:00a.m. Tuesday September 5, 2023 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Norfolk. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.hdoliver.com
