PEORIA - Aubrae M. Harper Jr., 17, of Peoria passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016, at 11:30 p.m.
He was born November 20, 1998, in Peoria, IL, to Aubrae Harper Sr. and Keyiana Jackson. They survive.
He attended The Word of Faith Christian Center. Aubrae was employed at McDonalds as a cook. He was fun and outgoing and loved to crack jokes and play football. Aubrae enjoyed his brother and sisters and was very over protective of the women in his family.
In addition to his parents, Aubrae Harper Sr. and Keyiana (Gary Hawkins Jr.) Jackson, all of Peoria, he also leaves to cherish his memories; two brothers, Gary Hawkins and Jahbrae Harper; three sisters, Ky'Vierra Hawkins and Ke'Breia and Kejaylla Jackson, all of Peoria; grandparents, Kimberly (Steve) Starks, Anthony Barlow and Jaqueline and Earnestine Harper, all of Peoria, and Janice Lewis, Willie and Joe Barlow, Diane Williams and Creamolia Jackson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fannie Davis and Aubrae Green; and great-great-grandparents, Nealie and Vereatha Hill and Arnell and Levora Williams.
Homegoing services will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2016, at 10 a.m., with visitation commencing one hour prior at Church of Living God L.B.L.C. Bishop Shelby Hines will officiate. Aubrae will be laid to rest in Lutheran Cemetery.
Aubrae's family has entrusted T.W. Parks Colonial Chapel with arrangements.

My condolences to your family, Aubrae. You will always be in my prayers. He was a great young man and very respectful. I will miss coming home and seeing his awesome smile. He would always greet me when I came through the door with hi Ma. I would lecture both him and Javier. Me and my children are grieving, and they miss you like crazy! You were taken way too soon! Rest in heaven, my dear angel. Until we meet again.....keep watching over Javier.

Aubrae was my lil cousin and he most definitely will be mimissedHe was taken from us way too soon. He and my children were close and now I have to make sure Im there for my children during this time of grief also for his mother Keyiana. I couldn't imagine losing a child but even though he's just my cousin almost feel like I did. It wont be the same of course with you not here but we will keep your memory alive.
