CHILLICOTHE - Catherine Ethel Dorviller, 87, of 1248 N. First St., Chillicothe, died Saturday, June 23, 2007, in Toluca.
She was born June 26, 1919, in Chillicothe, the daughter of Archie and Ella Jane (Smith) DeVoss. She married Earnest Lauher in 1936. She later married Clarence W. Dorviller on April 4, 1959, in Lacon. He preceded her in death on May 30, 2003.
She is survived by one daughter; Debra (and Wayne) Reed of Chillicothe; one daughter-in-law, Ella Mae Lauher of Kansas City, Mo.; her grandchildren, Jaime Harrold of Pekin, and Jesse Reed and Kaytlin Reed, both of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews.
Her husband; parents; and one son, Daniel Lauher, preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death are two brothers, Phillip DeVoss and Archie DeVoss Jr.; and six sisters, Mildred Howard, Hazel Colgrove, Mae Berke, Pearl Zimmerman, Thelma Lewis and Rinda Phillips.
Cremation rites will be accorded and graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 28, at the Chillicothe City Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe.
