Mike was a man of faith and a jokester who never met a stranger. He loved the Galva community and what it had to offer. His enjoyments included boating, cooking and grilling, gardening, swimming, cars, clock trains, ham radios, animals, guns, hunting in his earlier years and listening to '70s music. He was most proud of his family and especially enjoyed spending time with them.

Mike was my Best Friend in 7th and 8th grade. His family was so gracious in allowing my younger brother and I to come and play at their house. Mike was gregarious, and enjoyed contacting his Ham Radio friends. "Jokester" is the perfect adjective for Mike. We had so much Fun together, and Laughed continuously. I'm so happy that Mike had such a Full and Happy Life.
