Hope, Gloria, Roy and other family members,

Looking at the picture here I can hear the wonderful laugh that seemed to always finish a sentence when talking to me. I had the pleasure to bowl with Richard many times (joined with Hope and my wife in couples league, too) and I always enjoyed it as he was so positive and encouraging displaying great sportsmanship that even made it fun when my team lost. Richard also gave me work at the apartments when I lost my job. His generosity encouraged me in a lean time and allowed me to live with dignity. Richard also was a great friend to my Dad since they were classmates.I am truly thankful for the impact Richard made in my family's lives. I am sorry that we could only be there for part of the celebration of life today.May you continue to celebrate Richard's life remembering all the wonderful words people shared today and may God give you strength as you mourn your loss.
