Roger Elliott
PEORIA - Roger A. Elliott, 73, of Pekin passed away at 5:34 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2016, at his residence, with his family by his side.
He was born Dec. 1, 1942, in Peoria, the son of Albert and Lillian Johnson Elliott. He married the love of his life, Patricia Ann Lightbody, on July 5, 1980. She preceded him in death on Dec. 8, 2008.
Roger is survived by his children, Wendy Elliott Shelor, Jimmy Lehner, Penny Elliott Dunn, Michael Lehner, Bill Elliott, Dawn (Robert) Fithen and Samantha (Patrick) Elliott West; 17 Grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Jean Herberg, Debbie (Tim) Elliott Klein, Angela (Tom) Couri and Laura Elliott Boone; and 2 brothers, Charles (Valerie) Elliott and Kenneth (Lori) Elliott.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; 2 daughters, Lisa and Rita; 1 sister, Violet; and 1 brother, Richard.
Roger was a self-employed barber. He was also a welder for Keystone. He had a love for his cats.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday March 31, 2016, at Schmidt-Haller Burial and Cremation Service. Visitation will 1 hour prior. Pastor Ron Little will officiate. Burial will be in St John Lutheran Church Cemetery.
