Beverly Ann (Fisher) Creager, 79, of Peru, passed away at 8:10am on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Coventry Meadows in Fort Wayne.
She was born on April 4, 1945 in Peru, the daughter of Earnest Fisher and Mary (Kingery) Seiler. Beverly graduated from Peru High School in 1963. Following graduation, she married Donald Creager (1943-2021) and was a stay at home mom to three children. They celebrated 55 years of marriage on April 16, 2021. Later she began to work in the Peru Community School cafeterias and worked there for 32 years.
Beverly loved flowers of every kind, fall being her favorite because she loved all the colors. She loved to celebrate all the holidays, especially birthdays. She's known for bringing cakes to people to help them celebrate. She loved to shop, spend time outside, listen to music, and visit with people. Her most recent love was being a grandma, spending time with her grandkids, and spoiling them.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by Jim Fisher (brother). Surviving family members are her sons Jeff Creager and his wife Staci, of Fort Wayne; (Donald) Scott Creager and his wife Erika, of Indianapolis; her daughter Julie Dennison and her husband Jay, of Delphi; five grandchildren: Katie Creager, Evan Creager, Jillian Creager, Lia Dennison, and Lance Dennison; her sisters Carol (Fisher) Pratt and her husband Darrell; Mary Jo (Fisher) Holdren and her husband Ed; Marge (Fisher) Cover and her husband Mike; one brother Mike Fisher and his wife Earlene; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 from 5:00-6:00pm at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. A service will follow at 6:00pm with Pastor Dave Jodry officiating.
