Marian J. Coffman, 84, of East Stroudsburg, died Thursday, June 22, in Smithfield Township.
Born on May 21, 1922, in Cresco, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Amy Learn Coffman.
She worked for 20 years at the Mount Manor's Pro Shop in Marshalls Creek. Prior to this, she worked for Paterson Kelly in East Stroudsburg, and for Ronson Lighter Corporation in Delaware Water Gap.
She graduated from East Stroudsburg High School in 1939. She was a member of the East Stroudsburg United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by longtime companion, Ralph LaBar.
She is survived by a daughter, Autumn C. Scott and husband, Russell D. III, of Marshalls Creek; granddaughters, Holly F. Scott, of Harrisburg, Russell D. Scott IV and his wife, Christine, of Wooddale, and Kristen S. Hamilton and husband, John, of East Stroudsburg; great-grandchildren, Russell D. Scott V, and Nicholas T. Scott; sisters, Freda Sayre and husband, Harold, of Fort Davis, Texas, Joan Randall and husband, Paul, of Lakewood, Colo., and many cousins.
Calling hours will be held from noon until the time of service on Tuesday, June 27, at the Lanterman and Allen Funeral Home, 27 Washington St., East Stroudsburg. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., on Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Raymond Poortstra officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul's Cemetery, Swiftwater.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Pocono Medical Center Building Fund, 206 East Brown St., East Stroudsburg, PA 18301 or to the V.N.A. Hospice House, 412 East Brown St., East Stroudsburg, PA 18301.
