Edna Mackey Obituary
OAK HARBOR: Edna Marie Mackey, 95 of Oak Harbor, OH died Monday, June 13, 2016 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, Port Clinton, OH. She was born August 4, 1920 in Oak Harbor to the late Andrew and Sophia (Heck) Nehls. She was a 1938 graduate of the former Salem- Oak Harbor High School. On September 13, 1941 she married Paul H. Mackey who preceded her in death December 5, 1993. Edna spent her working years at Standard Products then US Gypsum both in Port Clinton, OH then the former Brush- Wellman Company in Elmore. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor.
Survivors include her daughter Paula Dugan of Port Clinton, OH; grandchildren: Terri (Bill) Niceswanger, Vicki (John) McCaffery, Stacy Hughes, Jim Dugan, and Jason Dugan; 10 great- grandchildren; and 5 great- great- grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her brother Herb Nehls, and son- in- law James Dugan.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2-8pm at the Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor Chapel, with the family present 2-4 & 6-8pm. Funeral Services will begin at 11am Friday, June 17, 2016 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Roose Cemetery, Oak Harbor, OH. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
