MARK LEE SOUTHWORTH
DELAWARE-Mark Lee Southworth, 55. of Delaware, Ohio, died Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at his residence.
He was born September 13, 1962 in Portsmouth, to Ralph and Phyllis Southworth Jr.
Mark had attended Temple Baptist Church, in his youth.
He was a member of Steelworkers Local in Chillicothe. He had worked for Union Springs in Chillicothe, and Norfolk and Western Railroad.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Southworth Jr.; and sister-in-law, Sandy Southworth.
Mark is survived by his wife Kimberly Bailey Southworth; two sons, Jason (Mara) Southworth of Smithfield, Virginia, and Aaron Southworth of Delaware; one daughter, Kari McKinley of Delaware; five grandchildren, Christawn "C.J." McKinley, Grace Southworth, Ralph Southworth III, Michael Southworth and Dorothy Southworth; one brother, Randy Southworth of Portsmouth; and one niece. He is also survived by his mother, Phyllis Morrow of Portsmouth.
Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, March 19, 2018 at F.C. Daehler Mortuary Company in Portsmouth, with Pastor John Gowdy officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park.
Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. on Monday at Daehlers.

i am so sorry to hear about Mark's passing. Mark and his brother Randy used to visit my ex husband and I often. Prayers for peace for the family during this time.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Kim Kari Jason and Aaron, my heart breaks for your family. Mark was such a great person and it's so hard to believe he's gone. I'm grateful I had the chance to know him. He was always good to me and I will never forget him. If there's anything I can do please let me know. There are no words that can ease the pain just know that he was loved by many and will be greatly missed. My heart is broken from this loss.
