Frank Sabody Obituary

FRANK C. SABODY Age 87, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2005 in Bradenton, Florida. Frank has been a Florida resident of 25 years, formerly a longtime resident of Roselawn. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bradenton. Frank retired in 1980 after 25 years of service at U.S. Steel. He is survived by son, Douglas; daughter, Diane; 2 stepchildren, Billie Jane (Gene) Clemens of Hobart, James L. (Deloros) Johnson of Virginia; 7 step-grandchildren: Michael (Judy) Clemens of Fox Island, WA, Bradley (Branka) Clemens of Hobart, Gregory (Nina) Clemens of San Antonio, TX, Kristy Johnson, Kelly Johnson, Sean (Shelly) Johnson, Matthew (Katie) Johnson, all of Virginia Beach, VA; 2 nephews, Richard (Betty) Bartholomew of Hobart, Thomas Bartholomew of Carlisle, PA; sister-in-law, Virginia Sabody of Lakes of the Four Seasons. Preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Bernadette Sabody. Memorial contributions may be given to the VNA Hospice of Porter County. A memorial funeral service will be conducted Saturday, April 16, 2005 at 11:30 a.m. from Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Rev. Robert B. Evers, officiating. Burial Evergreen Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family Saturday from 10-11:30 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart.

I worked with Frank at USS and had lost track of him over the years. We were in Bradenton, FL for the day when his death notice was published.
