JOHN S. TRUMP Valparaiso, Indiana John S. Trump, age 79, of Valparaiso, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at the VNA Hospice Center. He was born March 20, 1930 in Valparaiso. He was the son of Charles R. and Marjorie (Meegan) Trump. Jack was a civil engineer and worked for the State of Indiana Highway Department, was part owner of Trump Iron Works and was Deputy Engineer for the City of Valparaiso before he retired. He was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, Friendly Sons of Erin, the B.P.O. Elks Lodge #500, St. Paul's Men's Club and past president, Father Sorin 4th degree, and a Grand Knight of Columbus #738. He was also a US Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict. On August 29, 1959 in Valparaiso, he married Janet Bay who survives in Valparaiso. His parents and a brother, James, preceded him in death. A Memorial Mass with a celebration of his life will be held Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 12:00 PM, at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, with Fr. Kevin McCarthy officiating. A gathering with friends and family will be Saturday, May 2, 9 AM-12 PM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, before the Mass.
