Walter Stevenson Obituary
After high school graduation, Scottie joined the US Navy in 1988 where he served his country faithfully as a Medical Corpsman alongside the US Marines. He was stationed in Great Lakes, Illinois, Okinawa, Japan, Philippines and also served on a US AirCraft Carrier.
Walter made his heavenly transition on Friday, April 7, 2023 , at the age of 54. Walter is preceded in death by his Parents: Reverend James and Sister Rosetta Stevenson. Brothers: James Lawrence Stevenson and Ronald Wendell Stevenson Sisters: Barbara Jean Stevenson-Swift, Carol Stevenson-Perry; and Cynthia Stevenson. He leaves to cherish his memories Daughter: Rayna Hawkins. Brother: Craig Stevenson of New Mexico Sisters: Patricia Mack, Gary, Indiana, Joyce Stevenson of Memphis, Tennessee, and Brenda Jo Stevenson-Boley of Texas and a host of other relatives, and friends.
